Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has condoled with the family, friends, political associates, government and people of Lagos State over the death of the lawmaker representing Lagos-East Senatorial District, Senator Adebayo Osinowo.
The Governor in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, on Tuesday, 16 June, 2020 said Osinowo until his death was a good ally.
Oyetola described the late lawmaker as an excellent businessman cum politician whose zeal for true representation of the people of Lagos East in the National Assembly was commendable and enviable.
He added that the lawmaker was a believer in true democracy who was committed to selfless service to the people of Lagos and humanity at large, adding that his death has left a great vacuum in the ninth Assembly and the political sphere at large.
“I am saddened by the sudden death of Senator Adebayo Osinowo, the lawmaker representing Lagos-East Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
“Osinowo was a good ally and a believer in true democracy. He had over the years proved himself as the voice of the people with his unprecedented representation, first at State House of Assembly and later the National Assembly until his death. He will be greatly missed in the political circle,” Oyetola added.
Also, the Governor specifically condoled with the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in the state and the people of Lagos in general over the death of the late lawmaker.
Oyetola prayed Allah to repose the soul of the deceased and grant him Aljanat Firdaus. He also prayed Allah to grant the family, friends, associates, the government and people of Lagos State the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
