Following the recent arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, after raiding Nostrovia Club in Abule Egba, Lagos, some mischief-makers through bloggers and Opera News, had gone to town with the news that the owner of Glsss House Events & Suites was arrested, whereas it was Emeka Williams, the owner of Nostrovia Night Club, which is adjacent to Glass House Events & Suites, that was arrested.
For the records, Emeka Williams Kingsley does not have anything to do with the Glass House Events & Suites. He is the owner of Nostrovia Night Club adjacent Glass House Events & Suites.
The Glass House Events & Suites Management, which expressed shock about the owner being linked with Internet fraudsters arrested by the Anti-graft agency, said media practitioners should always crosscheck facts before going public. It is also on record that Glass House Events & Suites does not run a night club.
The Management of the hotel said it was expedient to clear the air about the ownership of Glass House Events & Suites.
Emeka Williams, the owner of Nostrovia Club, was among the suspects, among whom are: Adesoye Hussain Kehinde, Seun Joseph Adefala, Adebayo Gbadebo, Adebogun Olumuyiwa Adebowale, Aruna Ikoghane, Odunayo Israel Oluwatoyin, Junaid Idris Oladimeji, John Nnachi Ugochukwu, Oluwadare Olaiyan Aboderin, Ridwan Temitope Dada, Amosu Johnson Toby, Jiomoh Kazeem Tunde and Oyemade Michael and Akeem Dada, that were arrested by the Anti-graft agency.
We reliably gathered that Glass House Events & Suites legal team has concluded plans to sue the media platforms, which carried the fake news to court if not for the current strike by the judiciary workers.
