The Caretaker Chairman of Odo- Otin Local Council Development Area of Osun State, Hon. Abdulwasiu Ayodele Adepoju has congratulated the Governor of the state, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola on the occasion of his 3rd year in office, describing him as a symbol for good governance.
Hon. Adepoju, in his congratulatory message issued and signed by him, made available to journalists in Osogbo on Friday, 26 November, 2021, said, the state has witnessed tremendous and monumental development in all facets of human endeavours in the last three years.
“Governor Oyetola could be best described as God sent angel to Osun people looking at the style of his governance, especially considering his sterling qualities and outstanding performance in financial discipline, management, literacy and human capital development,” he said.
He hailed the doggedness of the Governor in the area of infrastructure rebirth and renewal with the view for socio-economic prosperity, growth and development which has placed the sate on competitive and comparative advantage among its counterparts in the Federation.
He noted further that rural and urban developments are not only growing proportionately and but also geometrically considering interchange rapid road rehabilitation, reconstruction, rural integration and inclusiveness approach in the state.
Hon Adepoju, stressed further that prompt payment of salaries, pension arrears and functional primary health care service delivery, despite paucity of fund, have enhanced the welfare of of Osun people and improved their standard of living.
He also commended the Governor for his uncommon wisdom and desperation to unlock the economic potentials of the state in the areas of agriculture, mining, tourism and youth development.
