The Assembly of Serikis under the aegis of the Chieftaincy Council of Arewa Community, Alimosho Local Government has endorsed Senator Musiliu Obanikoro to represent the people of the Lagos West in the Senate, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming general election.
The Arewa community after a general meeting on Friday, 13 May, 2022, agreed and unanimously endorsed the candidature of former Nigeria High Commissioner to Ghana for the seat of Lagos West Senatorial District in the Upper Legislative Chamber.
A statement signed by His Royal Highness Ahmed Haruna Kuranja, Seriki Overall of Alimosho; Ibrahim Jagaba, Secretary General of the Council and His Royal Highness Abubakar M. Hero, Seriki Igando Egan for the Chieftaincy Council, stated that their endorsement of Koro for West (Lagos West), is borne out of his past track record in the service and exemplary representation in the same and similar capacities in the past.

The assembly of Serikis under the aegis of the Chieftaincy Council of Arewa Community, Alimosho local government has after holding a general meeting today 13th May 2022, agreed and unanimously endorsed the candidature of Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, for the seat of Lagos West senatorial district.
The Chieftaincy council of Arewa community, is the umbrella body of all the Seriki Hausawas in the largest local government in Lagos State (Alimosho) with over 20 Serikis and other community opinion leaders across the LGA and across the Lagos Western Senatorial District as bonafide members. It is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Our endorsement of Koro for West (Lagos West), is borne out of his past track record in the service and exemplary representation in the same and similar capacities in the past.
We are convinced he is the best for the task and we are fully ready and willing to mobilize our memberships across the Lagos West Senatorial District to ensure his eventual emergence and ascendancy to the seat In Sha Allaahu.
