The popular businessman and politician in Agege , Hon Sola Osolana has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket to contest to represent Agege Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in the 2023 general elections.
According to report, the former Agege Local Government Chairmanship aspirant polled 22 out of 33 votes cast by delegates at the primaries held on Thursday, 26 May, 2022 to defeat three other aspirants of the party in Agege
The Returning Officer, Abbas Anas Adamu, who declared the results, described the process as peaceful and transparent.
In his reaction, Osolana said: “I am overwhelmed by the support of my constituency, the people, the ward chairmen, the leaders and the chieftains of the party.
“I feel the support even from the grassroots, honestly, I can’t be more happy than I am now.
“The real work to make Agege great begins now, the primary election is just the start and thankfully, we have the grace of God with us; greater Agege is possible”.
Osolana thanked the party Chairman, leaders, supporters and loyalists for the unalloyed support given to him.
