The Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), Honourable Wahab Alawiye-King, has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his triumph at the presidential primary of the party.
Alawiye-King, speaking with journalists after the event, described the victory as a well deserved one noting that, “with all sense of modesty and humility, it is obvious that Asiwaju, among all the aspirants that vied for the APC ticket, possess the needed qualities to revive and restore the glory of this country.
“He is bold, courageous, tenacious, intelligent and magnanimous. He has proven his worth with his performance in Lagos and till today his administration’s blueprint which has been the main policy thrust of successive administrations in the state has not only taken Lagos to greater heights but has made it the 5th biggest economy in the whole of Africa”.
Alawiye-King also commended the Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, Senator Oluremi Tinubu for believing in her husband, supporting him and standing by him through thick and thin.
“Senator Oluremi is a not only a mother hen who protects all her children from hawk, but also a loving, dutiful and caring wife to her husband and has been a pillar of support all through. Thank you, Ma for being our leader’s biggest supporter and believer,” he said
Alawiye-King also commended all delegates of the party, the party leaders, particularly the Northern States’ Governors for their belief in the unity of the country by insisting on power shift to the South.
“Finally, I’ll also applaud my ever active and performing Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his tenacity and negotiating power for believing in truth and standing by it,” he said.
