The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Finance, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke has expressed appreciation to all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their support in ensuring that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the party’s Presidential ticket, reports thegazellenews.com.
Faleke stated this while reacting to the victory of Tinubu at primary on Thursday, 9 June, 2022 via his official Twitter handle.
The former Chairman of Conference 57, umbrella organisation of Lagos Council Chairmen, stated that without the support of party members and elders, the victory would not have been achieved.
“Good morning, my people. I want to thank you all for the prayers and support for our Leader and the incoming president by His Grace.
Thanks for everything,” he tweeted.
Faleke, who was Tinubu’s agent at the exercise, called for more support from not only APC members but all Nigerians to make the general elections in 2023 a success.
He called on members of the party to embark on massive mobilisation of the people to register for the election and obtain their permanent voter’s cards.
“The reward for hard work is more work. So we have just started the main work to win at the general elections. Please ensure we move our people to get registered. God bless you all,” he said.
