The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt Hon Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni has assured the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the state will deliver for the party in the coming general elections, saying the state is noted for voting for the party.
Rt Hon Eshinlokun-Sanni disclosed this on Friday, 25 November, 2022 via a press statement welcoming party leaders to the state for the Presidential Campaign Rally.
“We’re happy to host you and we’re assuring you that Lagos will deliver,” Eshinlokun-Sanni said.
The Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly also disclosed that Lagos has always been voting Progressives and that the situation rather than changed in 2023, will rather strengthen.
“We in Lagos are Progressives and we will continue to be hence we will deliver to APC,” he said.
He particularly welcomed the party’s Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; his Running Mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, the Director General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Simon Lalong; and the party leaders led by the National Chairman, Senator Adamu Abdullahi to Lagos.
He also expressed appreciation to the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; his Deputy, Dr Kadir Obafemi Hamzat; the state APC Campaign Council led by Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon; and the party Exco members led by Pastor Cornellius Ojelabi for putting in place measures to ensure a hitch-free campaign.
