An unidentified man was knocked down by a hit and run driver at Alagbado area of Lagos early Tuesday, 29 November, 2022, reports thegazellenews.com
The man was eventually crushed to death by another driver driving a truck and also driving against traffic.
The sad incident occured at Kola Bus-stop, Alagbado area of Lagos State, at around 4:30am.
According to eye-witness account, the man was trying to cross when the hit and run driver, driving against traffic knocked him down. A truck coming behind the vehicle eventually crushed the man to death.
The truck driver reported himself to the police at AIT Road, Alagbado, Lagos.
He was thus, subsequently arrested, the truck taken to the police station while the remains of the deceased have been evacuated and deposited at the mortuary.
