The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire has commended Lagosians for the massive turn out and success of the flag-off campaign for the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; his Deputy, Dr Kadir Obafemi Hamzat; and other candidates of the party in the state
While assessing the outcome of the flag-off after the conclusion of the event, Princess Orelope-Adefulire expressed happiness that it was not only a successful programme but that it went on peacefully without any negative outcome.
“It is a confirmation that Lagosians are happy with our Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his team and in extension, they are also happy with our party,” she said via a statement issued by her Media Office.
The Presidential Aide also commended the leadership of the party in the state as well as the Campaign Council for a well organised programme. “This is a well organised programme and I want to commend the leadership of the party in Lagos and the Campaign Council for a job well done,” Princess Orelope-Adefulire, who despite her tight schedule of being a Presidential Aide and Chairmanship of the Finance Directorate of the APC PCC Women’s Campaign Council, physically attended the flag-off event and stayed from the commencement to the end.
She urged Lagosians to vote massively for Governor Sanwo-Olu and all the candidates of the party, particularly the party’s Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
“A vote for Tinubu/Shettima, Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat and all APC candidates is a vote for progress, economic emancipation and infrastructure regeneration,” she said.
