The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has again received another boost to his campaign train.
Northern Muslim clerics under the aegis of Al-Amaanah Global Islamic Foundation rose from a meeting on Tuesday, 24 January, 2023, and announced that it was giving its support and backing to the former Governor of Lagos in the upcoming elections.
The body said its decision was based on the record of the APC Candidate while in office between 1999 to 2007 as Governor of Lagos State.
It said the transformative prowess exhibited by the former Governor is what Nigeria requires at the moment.
The group pointed out that competence should be placed far and above tribalism and religion.
The Al-Amaanah Global Islamic Foundation promised to mobilize its members to ensure the victory of the APC Candidate in the February elections
