The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni (WES), has reiterated his commitment to providing his constituents with the most effective and efficient representation ever, if given their mandate in the election of Saturday, 25 February, 2023.
He stated this while receiving representatives of the Indigenous Movie Makers Association of Nigeria (IMMAN) at his campaign office, in the company of his campaign council members.
While acknowledging the efforts of his predecessors for competently representing the constituents, especially, the great contributions of Senator Remi Tinubu OON in making the Senatorial District arguably the best in Nigeria, he promised to do more to protect their interests and bring greater development to the District.
On their part, the representatives of IMMAN, led by Tunde Lawson, promised to support the candidate with their clout by adopting a direct marketing strategy to campaign for WES. They hope to do a door-to-door and market storm to convince their followers within the District to adopt WES as their senatorial candidate.
Lawson, noted that as one of the oldest in the movie industry in Nigeria; comprising seasoned actors, producers, directors and film makers, they are positioned to helping promote the candidature of WES with “good content supporting good governance”.
He stated that their command of sizeable followship on the social media will be exploited to the advantage of the candidate, in particular and APC candidates in general.
Also in the delegation are: Ayo Badmus, Rasaq Olokooba, Dayo Ogunde and Baba Ajasco; among others.
