It was a day of royal endorsements and blessings for the All Progressives Congress Candidate for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni (WES), when he led his campaign council on campaign visitations to three outstanding royal fathers in Lagos on Tuesday, 14 February, 2023.
The campaign team was received with pageantry at the palace of the Oloto of Otto and Mainland, HRM Oba Bashir Abisoye Odesanya early in the day. Oba Odesanya, a former legislator at the Lagos House of Assembly, extolled the virtues of the candidate and invoked the spirit of his forebears to grant Rt. Hon. Eshilokun and indeed, all APC candidates from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the HoA candidates success in the forth coming election.
Kabiyesi and the Eletu of Otto, Alhaji Alade Shamsideen implored WES to attract development to Otto when he becomes the Senator.
Also on hand to receive WES Campaign Council were some of his chiefs and Hon. Folawiyo, Executive Chairman of Mainland Local Government who led the political crowd.
Afterwards, Rt. Hon. Eshilokun led his team to pay homage to HRM Oba Fatai Oyeyinka Aromire, Ojora of Ijora kingdom. The chiefs and people of Ijora came in numbers to welcome him.
Kabiyesi invoked the gods of the land and the spirit of his forefathers to pray for Asiwaju Tinubu, Governor Sanwoolu, Rt. Hon. Eshilokun, and other APC candidates for the House of Representatives and Lagos Assembly in Apapa.
Rt. Hon. Eshilokun expressed his appreciation to His Majesty and his chiefs; as well as, the entire people of Ijora kingdom for honouring him and his team.
From Ijora, the campaign council moved to Igbobi Sabe where HRM Oba Owolabi Adeshina Adeniyi, with the support of Olori and his Baales received the team.
It was another outpouring of blessings for Rt. Hon. Eshilokun and the team; with a request from HRM that he should remember to factor his community into the Senatorial development plans.
