A popular socio-political activist, Princess Adenike Akindele has initiated a contact and mobilisation team to mobilise and galvanise youths, especially those at Ikoyi, Obalende and Eti-Osa axis, to vote enmasse for the Governor of Lagos State and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
According to Princess Akindele, who is also the Erelu of Otta Kingdom, the aim of the initiative is targeted at youths and how to mobilise and galvanise them to campaign, mobilise and vote for Governor Sanwo-Olu.
Aptly tagged ‘You Belong’, Princess Akindele said the effort is aimed at giving the youths a sense of belonging, emphasising their importance to the Sanwo-Olu second term project.
Thus, Princess Akindele, alongside with leaders of the APC in the state, has put in place a two-day mobilisation drive for the youths especially those in Lagos Central Senatorial District.
“The meeting with the youths will take place between Wednesday, 15 and Thursday, 16 March, 2023.
“Venue is the Lagos Central Campaign Council Secretariat, 10 Awolowo Road, opposite Civil Service Club, beside old School of Nursing, Ikoyi,” she said.
