Mrs Iforiti Oloro, a 75-year-old grandmother who set her own son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren ablaze at the Aponmu community, on the outskirts of Akure, Ondo State capital,is dead.
The Septuagenarian also sustained degrees of burns while carrying out the tragic incident.
Oloro died at the hospital where she was rushed for treatment after her health condition deteriorated.
A resident, who declined to mention her name, confirmed the death of the old woman to a northern based national newspaper on Tuesday night, 28 March, 2023.
“We have just been told now that the woman has given up the ghost at the hospital. The news is everywhere in the community,” she said.
The gazellenews.com reported that the old woman had penultimate weekend set fire on her own son; Victor, her daughter-in-law, Rachael, and two grandchildren.
As at the time of filing this report, the state police command has not yet commented or issued statement on the death of the old woman.
