After his sack as Chelsea coach on Sunday, 2 April, 2023, Graham Potter will pocket about £13million in compensation .
It takes the amount Blues co-owner Todd Boehly has spent on managerial costs to over £50 million in the last nine months
Chelsea paid a Premier League record of £22 million to Brighton to land Potter and his staff in September, after giving Thomas Tuchel a pay-off of £10 million.
Potter has pocketed around £7 millio in salary during his brief spell in charge.
All these will increase the need for a quick-fire sale of squad members this summer, in order to comply with the Premier League’s spending rules.
Last week, the Stamford Bridge side published losses of £121 million for the 2021/22 season.
That figure did not include the £550 million spent on new players since the summer.
