The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire has commended the Olota of Ota Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeyemi AbdulKabir Obalanlege for attracting development and growth to the town during his reign.
Princess Orelope-Adefulire gave the commendation on Wednesday, 10 May, 2023, via a press statement issued to celebrate the 5th Anniversary Coronation celebration of the referred Awori monarch.
The popular monarch is celebrating his 5th Coronation Anniversary as well commissioning the Olota Royal Residence (ORR) today, Wednesday, 10 May, 2023.
“Kaabiyesi, it is an open secret and a thing of joy to us that your reign has not only ensured that peace continues to reign in the Ota Kingdom, we’re also happy and delighted that your reign has accelerated development and growth in the Kingdom,” she said.
The Presidential Aide commended the monarch for using his influence and contacts to attract infrastructure to the Kingdom both from the national and state levels, noting these infrastructure facilities have contributed in no small measures to the socio-economic growth of the Ota Kingdom.
“We’re proud of what our father, Kaabiyesi has attracted to Ota Kingdom in terms of infrastructure facilities and I pray for more years for him on the throne of his forefathers,” Princess Orelope-Adefulire said.
It would be recalled that the reign of Oba Olalanlege has attracted the following infrastructure to the Ota Kingdom: a modern community hall, a mini stadium, renovation and modernisation of St Micheal Primary School and Ansar-ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, all put in place by the Presidency through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs); and rehabilitation and construction of major roads in the town by the state government.
