The immediate past Secretary to the Borno State Government, Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa, is dead.
Shuwa, who until Sunday, 28 May, 2023, is Governor Babagana Umara Zulum’s SSG, passed away after a brief illness at the age of 65.
According to a family source, he passed on at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, UMTH, on the evening of Saturday, 3 June, 2023
Shuwa was a seasoned administrator with a long standing track record of working at both state and federal levels.
His burial arrangements will be announced by the state government.
