Brighton’s Moises Caicedo has reportedly ‘agreed on personal terms’ with Premier League club Arsenal, with deal said to cost The Gunners£80million.
But Chelsea are said to lurking around still to hijack the deal.
Caicedo is expected to leave Brighton this summer transfer window.
Arsenal head coach, Mikel Arteta sanctioned a club-record bid in excess of £70million for Caicedo in the January transfer window but the deal fell through as Brighton refused to sell the 21-year-old.
Arsenal still want to sign Caicedo ahead of the 2023-2024 seasons and as reported by Metro UK, the Gunners have now ‘agreed personal terms’ with the Ecuador international.
The North London club still needs to negotiate a fee with Brighton, who are hoping to receive at least £80million for Caicedo.
