We live in a world of uncertainties and depression. Yet we desire good life.
However the good life assumed to be a bed of roses is almost not attainable by 90 percent of mankind or more because what many consider the good life is deceptive, a mirage it is.
This life in its entirety is a life of trial, of boasting and mutual rivalry and competition. It’s the rat race for the mindless, the stupid, the ignorant, the negligent, the rebellious.
The good life, the real life, the ideal life or the perfect life is not a straight life, not a life without bends and contours, not without boulders and craters on the road and thorns that pricks. It’s not a life without tears and sorrow or war, famine, plaque and disasters. Certainly, not a life without disappointment.
That a man’s path is smooth and straight is not a manifestation of good life. It’s called life of grace and mercy because not many who live it are happy in it. It’s Gods grace to be have things easy.
That a man swims in grandeur and opulence is not an indication of good life because many who enjoy it actually gain it from the murder of their conscience and when conscience dies, nothing good can ever be ascribed to it.
That you dance in the midst of damsels, surrounded by sons and daughters with brains and beauty does not spell you having good life because your wife and children are nothing but trial unto you.

What then makes *GOOD LIFE* my beloved?
The good life is one of *acknowledging that Allah is your Lord and you show or demonstrate steadfastness on this affirmation, because you will never fear, grief or depressed.
What a good life, oh! hat a life of joy and happiness comes with resoluteness in remaining firm with the almighty Allah!
We pray for the grace of such life that come with inner peace.
