The former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and immediate past Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, OFR, has extolled the virtues of former Governor of the state and immediate past Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, CON, describing him as a man deeply committed to the development and growth of Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
Princess Orelope-Adefulire disclosed this via a message released on her behalf by her Media Office to celebrate the 60th birthday of the former Governor of Lagos State on Wednesday, 28 June, 2023.
“He’s a man committed and so passionate about the development of our dear state and country. He’s always looking to improve on his performance. A man who displays leadership and leads by example,” the former Presidential Aide who was Deputy to Fashola between 2011 and 2015 said.
According to her, the former Minister is a hardworking man who sets the pace for others to follow.
“As a Governor, he developed and moved Lagos higher building on the solid foundation laid by our dear father and leader and now President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. That Lagos prospered during his reign will therefore be an understatement,” she said.
“As you climb the Sixth Step, and as we all celebrate your Diamond Age today, I wish you a happy birthday and I pray that Almighty Allah continues to strengthen you in the service of our dear state and fatherland,” she said.
