This is surely a good news for followers of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as the equipment to facilitate the live broadcast of matches have started arriving at designated stadiums for coverage ahead of the football season
Recall that the NPFL broadcast partners Propel Sports have shortlisted 10 stadiums for live streaming of the 2023-24 NPFL games.
Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan; and Muhammed Dikko Stadium, Katsina, are the latest venues to receive the Pixelot AI cameras.
The remaining venues are expected to get the streaming equipments before the start of the new NPFL season.
Other match venues that are yet to get the streaming equipment are: Godswill Akpabio Stadium (Uyo), Kwara State Stadium (Ilorin), Enyimba Stadium (Aba), Sani Abacha Stadium (Kano), Rwang Pam Stadium (Jos), Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium (Benin), Pantami Stadium (Gombe) and Mobolaji Johnson Arena (Lagos).
The 2023-24 NPFL season is expected to commence on Saturday, 26 August, 2023.
Enyimba Football Club Aba are the current NPFL champions.
