The Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon Rasaq Ajala (HRA), joined the congregation at Fountain of Life Church on Friday, 8 September, 2023 to pay his final respects to the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, a revered man of God.
Pastor Daniel Odukoya, who passed away on August 7 in the United States of America, was honored during the service.
In his remarks following the service, Ajala praised Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s virtues, describing him as a man of honor who consistently supported democratic values and utilized his influential position to aid the government of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA.
“Late Pastor Adekoya was a man of honor who steadfastly supported our government throughout his lifetime.
“I am here today to pay my final respects to him and pray that the Lord grants him eternal rest as he returns to his heavenly home,” he said.
The council boss also expressed condolences to Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s immediate family, the Fountain of Life Church, and the Christian Association of Nigeria.
During the event, HRA accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Elijah Martins; met with Pastor Stephen Adegbite, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos State branch, as well as Pastor Abraham Olaluwoye, the immediate past Chairman of the association in Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA to convey his condolences.
