The pre-Season tourney organised by the Lagos State Football Association kicked off on Monday, 18 September, 2023 at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan, reports thegazellenews.com.
The first match of the day was between First Bank and Real Sapphire with the former winning via walk over as the latter refused to show up for the match.
In the second match, Tradesafe Football Club lost 2-3 to AS Racine while Okaka FC defeated Smart City 3-1 in the third match.
In the other matches played on Day One of the Tourney, Ikorodu City defeated Spartans FC 2-1; Lekki United lost 0-3 to Broad City FC; Emmydinho FC played a goalless draw with BYT; TCCG beat Dannaz while while Magic Stars defeated Buruj SA 2-0.
