A Yoruba traditional leader in Ghana, His Royal Majesty AbdulSalaami Saka, the Yoruba paramount king in the Central Region of Ghana, has disclosed his intention to build world class City in his Region.
The paramount leader in an exclusive interview with thegazellenews.com that he has acquired a very verse land for the project. He said all the necessary documentation for the land had been secured and the drawings had also been done.
Explaining that he chose to site the project in Central Region, the royal father said, he was born in the region, though, he had visited his source which is Ogbomosho in Oyo state severally. He promised to extend the idea as soon as this is completed.
“You know I am a builder, I have engaged in series of housing project as an Investor. Ghana has been a good home for Nigerians and same to Nigeria for Ghanians. It is my vision to strengthened the tie between Nigeria and Ghana. With the recent diplomatic relationship between the two countries that is been encouraged, the citizens of the two countries will enjoy quality relationship and economically, it will be a great advantage”, he assured.
As regards the commencement period of the project, he said his team was trying to secure interested financier that will also join on Joint Venture.
The royal father said the city will have market, recreation centre and every other units that are expected to be in a city. “Because it, will be a city, that is why we named it Pan African City,” he said.
He explained that other African citizens will be allowed to own properties there. “We are all one in Africa, I am from the Yoruba land of Nigeria, but all Africans are one family”, said.
He concluded by calling on African leaders to encourage their citizens to be more united to enhance economic growth on the continent.
