A former goalkeeper for Super Falcons, Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni is dead, reports thegazellenews.com
Aluko-Olaseni’s death was announced on Saturday, 3 March, 2024 by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on X handle.
According to the NFF, the ex-Super Falcons goalkeeper died after battling cancer for eight years.
Apart from the Super Falcons, the deceased also kept goal for local club sides: Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt and Sunshine Queens of Akure.
