The member representing Mushin Federal Constituency I in the House of Representatives, Honourable Taofeek Adeyemi Alli has called on Nigerians to support the economy reforms programme of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reports thegazellenews.com.
According to him, after the initial hardship, the positive effects of the reforms have started to manifest.
Honourable Alli spoke during the distribution of food palliatives to residents of his Constituency in Mushin.
“I want to call on Nigerians to support the President in his efforts at bringing succour to majority of the people.
“At the initial stage, the reforms may have brought hardship but now we’ve started to witnessing the positive impacts of the programmes.
“We appreciate your patience, prayers and cooperation for the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration but we’ll still ask for more. Without you, the objective will not be realized,” Alli, former Chairman of Odiolowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, said.
Residents besieged the office of the lawmaker to collect the food items. Over 3,500 residents benefitted from the programme and they were full of praises for the Lawmaker.
“Honourable Alli has really put smiles in my home. This is very commendable,” Mrs Olayinka Ayinde, who lives at Ojuwoye, told thegazellenews.com
Another beneficiary, Anayo Adams, who lives at Damegoro Street, described Alli as a worthy representative. “He has been representing us well and I pray to God to continue to be with him. He has done well and I know he’ll still do more,” he said.
A youth leader in the area told our correspondent that Alli in the past, has put in place people-oriented programmes aimed at uplifting the people of his Constituency. “He’s our worthy Ambassador and a role model to us in this area,” he said.
