Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West) has expressed deep sadness, shock and great loss at the demise of one of his political allies of many years, Barrister Babatunde Ishola Quaseem Rajh- Label (B.I.Q) in a fatal motor accident in Olorunda LCDA, Badagry.
The senator, who could not hide his unbelief and bereavement at the death of BIQ, stated that he spent a greater part of the last 24 hours with BIQ before the accident in a Hilux Toyota jeep adding that his demise is not only a great loss to his immediate family but also his political family across Lagos and Ogun State.
Senator Adeola described BIQ as a loyal progressives’ grassroots politician that had served Lagos State and the nation in various capacities in the past stressing that his life was cut short at a time his services, steadfastness and commitment is sorely needed.
Before his demise Barrister Label was a Special Assistant (South West Affairs) to Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jubrin while he served in similar capacity in the 9th Senate with Senator Ahmad Lawan as President of the Senate.
BIQ was a former Sole Administrator of Ifako-Ijaye Local Government Area, Director General of Senator Adeola Campaign Organisation in Lagos West Senatorial District towards the election for the 9th Senate and served as a member of the Committee that carried out massive reconstruction and rehabilitations of schools in Lagos State. He also played a leading role in the campaign of Senator Adeola for the Ogun West Senatorial seat in 2023.
Senator Adeola pray for the peaceful repose of his soul and the fortitude for his bereaved family and close associates to bear the irreparable loss.
