“We are at Ibom Golf and Country Club, and we are getting set for one of the most exciting golf days tomorrow (Saturday) in this part of the world.
“Ibom Open used to open in the past, and we used to have Le’Meridian open in the past, and we used to have “LM open” at the time; it was Le Meridien Hotel here. It used to be the game that every golfer within and outside the country looked forward to playing.
“In fact, at a point, it was “LM Open 1&2,” but when Le Meridien left and COVID 19 set in, a lot of things went underground. As a club, we are to do a rebirth of Ibom Club, and I am happy the way I’m seeing this birth may give birth to twins.
“We are getting ready for the epic show tomorrow. The games start at 6.30am, and we are having presentations of trophies and dinner by 6pm here in the club.
“On Sunday, we have another show that we call the OPM festival of jamming, and most of the people that are coming are because they know that there will be a jamming festival.

This event was oversubscribed in under one week, and we want to apologise to those who would have wanted to be here but are not here,” he said.
