The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SSAP-SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire has congratulated Nigerians, especially Muslims on the celebration of the Eid-l-Kabir.
Princess Orelope-Adefulire also advised Nigerians to imbibe the lessons derived from the history of the festival by spreading and sharing love among themselves, having faith and ensuring peaceful co-existence.
“We need to imbibe the lessons inherent in this great festival. We need to be faithful to God, promote and share love among ourselves so that we will continue to enjoy peaceful co-existence,” the Senior Presidential Aide said.
While appreciating the perseverance and sacrifice of Nigerians in the face of recent economic challenges, Orelope-Adefulire assured that the Tinubu administration has taken the seemingly hard decisions to put the country back on track.
“Gradually and steadily, we’re moving on positively, the signs are there and Nigerians will definitely be the better for it,” she said.
Princess Orelope-Adefulire while acknowledging the patience and support of Nigerians for the Tinubu administration, urged them not to relent in their prayers and cooperation for the administration.
“I wish all Nigerians, particularly our Muslim brothers and sisters, a happy Eid-l-Kabir celebration,” she said.
