The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, has expressed his condolences to the family of Alhaja Ramota Bankole, who died in Saudi Arabia after performing this year’s Hajj.
Ojelabi expressed shock and sadness over the sudden death of the the former Welfare Officer of the party in the state.
Bankole was said to have been among the pilgrims that died following an excessive heat recorded in the holy land.
The Lagos APC Chairman described the death as unfortunate noting that the late politician was a very resourceful and dependable party loyalist who implemented all assignments given to her diligently and satisfactorily.
“On behalf of the entire members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, we condole with the Bankole Family on the demise of Alhaja Ramota, the former Welfare Officer of our party here in Lagos.
“We pray that the Lord will give the family, the APC as a whole and all the loved ones she left behind, the fortitude to be bear the loss, ” he said.
Ojelabi said the memories of late Bankole would linger on because of her great contributions to the Party at the state and at the grassroots levels.
