English Premier League giants, Manchester United have made a move for Brentford striker, Ivan Toney, The Standard reports.
According to the reports, the Red Devils are keen to bolster their attacking options.
Toney is also being chased by Chelsea and Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli, as the transfer window begins to wind down.
It is understood that the England international is seen by United boss, Erik ten Hag, as an ideal candidate to address the Red Devils’ ongoing issues in front of goal.
Preliminary conversations have taken place between United and Brentford, with the two clubs discussing terms for the 28-year-old.
However, the Red Devils have not yet tabled an offer for Toney – despite there being just two days left in the summer transfer window.
Erik ten Hag’s side will also have to battle it out with Chelsea, as the Blues have reportedly made a move to sign the striker.
