Former Liberian president and football legend, George Weah, has been named among the top 50 greatest footballers of all time by Sports Illustrate.
Sports Illustrate sports ranked the former Liberian forward at spot 43 as one of the greatest to play the sports.
Sports Illustrated is an American sports magazine first published in August 1954. Founded by Stuart Scheftel, it was the first magazine with a circulation of over one million to win the National Magazine Award for General Excellence twice. It is also known for its annual swimsuit issue, which has been published since 1964, and has spawned other complementary media works and products.
