The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, in Abuja presided over by Justice Maryann Anenih on Tuesday, 10 December, 2024 admitted a co-defendant of ex-Kogi governor, Yahaya Bello, Abdulsalami Hudu, to bail in the sum of N300 million.
Hudu and Bello are facing money laundering charges brought against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC).
He was granted bail with stringent conditions by Justice Anenih on Tuesday, 10 December, 2025.
The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, in Abuja has admitted a co-defendant of ex-Kogi governor, Yahaya Bello, Abdulsalami Hudu, to bail in the sum of N300 million.
Hudu and Bello are facing money laundering charges brought against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
He was granted bail with stringent conditions by Justice Maryann Anenih on Tuesday.
Hudu, who is the 3rd Defendant in the case, was ordered to produce two sureties in like sum, who shall in addition, have landed property within the jurisdiction of the court, particularly in Maitama.
The value of the property must not be less than N300 million while the title documents of the property are to be verified by the registrar of the court.
He was also ordered not to travel outside Nigeria without the leave of the court, and shall remain in Kuje Correctional Centre, pending the fulfilment of the bail conditions.
The defendant and his two sureties are also to submit two recent passport photographs with the court.
Hudu was ordered to deposit his travelling documents with the court.
