Conference 57, umbrella organisation for all council chairmen in Lagos State, has congratulated the newly elected Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, on her historic emergence as the first female Speaker of the Assembly.
“This remarkable milestone reflects not only your personal dedication, competence, and unwavering commitment to service but also the progressive ideals and inclusive governance ethos that our state represents,” a statement by Kolade Alabi, Chairman; and Sesan Daini, Publicity Secretary of the organisation said.
Alabi and Daini, Chairmen of Bariga LCDA and Igbogbo-Bayeku LCDA respectively, stated further that, “as you assume this critical role as the head of the state legislature, we trust in your capacity to deliver robust legislative leadership that meets the expectations of Lagosians, fosters development, and upholds the principles of democracy.
