The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has tested positive for Coronavirus, The Gazelle News.com reports.
This medium learnt that Mallam el-Rufai made the announcement through a statement on Saturday, 28 March, 2020 in Kaduna.
He thus becomes the first person to test positive to the virus in Kaduna State.
As required, the Kaduna Governor has informed the necessary authorities of his status and he has subsequently been transferred to an isolation centre where he has commenced treatment.
