Twenty three new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Nigeria, The Gazelle News.com can report.
This brings the total number of cases in Nigeria to 174.
In the new cases announced by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its Twitter handle as at 8.00pm, nine new cases were reported in Lagos, seven in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Akwa Ibom state makes entry with five new cases and one each in Kaduna and Bauchi states.
Lagos continues to remain the epicentre of the deadly virus in Nigeria with its number rising to 91, FCT now has 35 cases, Osun follows with 14, Oyo has eight cases, Akwa Ibom has five while the trio of Edo, Kaduna and Ogun have four cases each among others.
