Ondo State is the newest state on the list of coronavirus state as the state recorded its first confirmed case of Covid-19.
The Gazelle News.com reports that the state Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu announced this on Friday, 3 April, 2020 on his Twitter handle.
According to him, the confirmed patient has been put in isolation while the state has commenced the process of tracing his contacts.

We have just received confirmation of our first positive #COVIDー19 case in Ondo State this evening. The infected person is currently under isolation and will be monitored. We have activated all necessary protocol to locate all contacts and will be working closely with @NCDCgov.
