Lagos State has recorded its first Coronavirus death while another death arising from the virus infection was reported in Edo State.
The Gazelle News.com reports that this was the latest update on the virus infection in the country released by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its Twitter handle at 10.30pm on Friday, 3.April, 2020.
Twenry new cases were also confirmed bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 210.
The Gazelle News.com reports further that of the 20 new cases: 11 were from Lagos, three from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, three from Edo, two from Osun and one from Ondo.
This brings Lagos number to 109 confirmed cases, 24 have been discharged and one death, FCT number rose to 41, Osun is now 22, Edo has seven cases and one death.
