The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the Senate, Senator Adebayo Osinowo, has donated N30 million to be shared among indigent residents of the five local government areas and eleven local council development areas in his senatorial district, The Gazelle News.com can report.
Senator Osinowo announced the donation through his verified Twitter handle on Friday, 10 April, 2020.
“I donated N30 million to ease the pains of people in all 16 Local Government and LCDA under Lagos East Senatorial District,” Senator Osinowo, popularly called Pepperito wrote on his Twitter handle.
According to the Senator, the sharing of the money and materials would be supervised by the members of the Lagos State House of Assembly in each local government assisted by the council officials, All Progressives Congress (APC) party chairmen of the each local government and Team Pepper coordinators.
