A special 97th birthday was organised in his honour by Ayinla Omowura music lover’s club international, in Abeokuta exactly a month ago where eminent personalities attended from across the world.
The celebration also had in attendance the Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, scholars, indigenous language researchers and apala musicians from across the globe.
It was indeed a befitting celebration for the most detailed and talented talking-drummer in the entire universe.
