The Civil Society Organizations on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative (CSCHEI) in Nigeria has appointed Kunle Yusuff, MON, as its Director General.
The appointment was endorsed by the Board of Trustees and Alliance Members of the organisation on Tuesday, 5 September, 2023 during the inaugural meeting of the executive management team, which was held at Nicon Luxury, Central Area, Abuja.
The Organization is an accredited non-profit establishment that coordinates various registered Community-based Organizations-CBO, Non-Governmental Organization NGO, with a view to providing community enhancement, humanitarian empowerment, dignity and societal values for development in the country.
Equally, the establishment serves as the bridge between the government and the masses, interfacing between communities and private sectors on Corporate Social Responsibility as well as establishing administrative relationships with development partners and donor agencies on grants interventions.
Kunle Yussuf, in his acceptance speech, appreciated the Board of Trustees and Alliance Members on the appointment, which he described as a great honour done to him.
He promised that, as the new Director General, he would uphold operational principles of the organisation, which are predicated upon the precept of logic, science, and data as well as the values.
Concluding, Yusuff stated that he would ensure he achieves his best in nurturing inclusive local communities in advancement of the social, economic, humanitarian, and environmental progress of the society.
