I am excited to write this goodwill message on the occasion of the 60th Birthday of His Excellency, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State on September 19th, 2024.
We thank God Almighty for his outstanding achievements over the years as a family man; a professional and a political leader. Undoubtedly, he has made significant contributions to the socio-economic development of Lagos State in particular and Nigeria at large. As a Commissioner for Science and Technology, he led and enforced the application of modern technology in the Lagos State Ministries and Agencies. Having worked closely with him, I have come to appreciate His Excellency’s humility, hard work, courage and respect for diversity.
On this Diamond Jubilee, my family and I congratulate him and pray that God Almighty will continue to strengthen and guide him. Once again, congratulations.
