The 1st Yoruba World Carnival of Arts and Culture which is scheduled to hold between April and May 2022 will holds its Committee Retreat from 3 to 6 February, 2022 at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta to deliberate comprehensively on the event.
In a press statement signed by Femi Sowoolu on behalf of the Media and Publicity sub-Committee, the carnival will bring together the largest gathering of Yoruba people from across the globe.
Expected at the Retreat are the Central Committee members: Dr. Tunde Adegbola, who is Chairman of the Committee; Otunba Femmy Carrena, Prince Tunde Odunlade, Chief Ayo Afolabi and Mr. Oluwaseun Olayiwola who is the Secretary.
The event has the backing of royal fathers: Ooni Enitan Ogunwusi, Alaafia of Oyo,Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and the Alake of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo
