Head coach of First Bank Football Club, Mohammed Gafari has reacted after his team walked over Real Sapphire Football Club in the opening match of Lagos FA pre season tournament whick kicked off early today.
The Lagos pre-season finally kicked off Monday morning, 18 September, 2023 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena formally known as Onikan Stadium.
First Bank were on ground this morning but their opponents failed to show off giving them free three points.
Gafari stated that he was not happy over the walk over victory saying that he had wanted to use the first game to test new players recruited recently.
“I am not happy for not playing our opponents because i have planned the first game to test my players and assess their fitness level. By and large, getting three points is equally good for us so that we can target victory in our next game,” he said.
