The State Fire Service Spokesman, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, confirmed in a statement issued on Monday, 3 April, 2023 in Kano. Abdullahi, however, disclosed that 11 persons lost their lives while property worth N113.2 million was destroyed in the incidents. According to him, the service responded to 43 rescue calls and 10 false alarms from residents within the period.
