The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on Wednesday, 1 February, 2023, arrested a woman, Omosehin Oluwadarasimi Esther, with the Twitter handle Simisola of Lala, offering new naira notes for sale on social media. Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum on Monday, 30 January, 2023, commissioned 300 units of resettlement houses built for citizens affected by Boko Haram attacks in Rumirgo town of Askira-Uba Local Government Area of the state. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has successfully concluded the two-year conflict mitigation activity ‘Building Community Resilience to Violent Extremism and Conflict in Northeast Nigeria’, also known as Northeast Connection, that worked to counter violent conflict. Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum has unveiled a water project with capacity to store and distribute 1,250,000 litres of water at Mboa village in Chibok Local Government Area of the state.
