Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, on Wednesday, 22 November, 2023, directed the construction of about 4km road network at Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The Governor ordered the allocation of a building owned by Borno State Government for use as a hostel by the polytechnic. Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, on Tuesday, 21 November and Wednesday, 22 November, 2023, supervised the distribution of N275 million cash, food items and wrappers to 95,000 residents in Monguno town of Monguno Local Government Area in the northern part of the state. The Ogun State Government is targeting 15,000 pregnant women as beneficiaries of its free delivery programme tagged “Ibidero” as part of measures put in place to improve the state’s maternal mortality index.
