A Lagos High Court today, Monday, 9 October, 2023, delivered judgment in the case of a police officer, Drambi Vandi, charged with shooting dead a Lagos-based lawyer, Omobolanle Raheem, on Christmas Day, December 25, 2022 in the Ajah area of Lagos. Justice Ibironke Harrison, the trial judge, in her ruling, convicted Vandi of a one-count charge of murder and thus sentenced him to death by hanging.
