The United States Mission has launched the fifth edition of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) in Nigeria. A statement on Thursday, 7 September, 2023, said, in partnership with Ascend Studios, AWE will provide 120 women entrepreneurs with the knowledge, networks, and access needed to launch and scale successful businesses. Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum has flagged off the distribution of free maternal drugs worth over N800 million to five general hospitals in the state for maternal healthcare services.
